- Pomotoro is free, and you can use it without an account.
- Coins and themes are in-app extras: they can't be bought, sold or turned into money.
- Don't cheat on the weekly leaderboard; cheaters are removed from it.
- We run the service with care but can't promise it will never be interrupted; export your important data now and then.
1. The service and who provides it
Pomotoro (the "Site") is a free focus (pomodoro) timer provided by Furkan KOÇYİĞİT. By using the Site you agree to these terms. How your personal data is handled is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account
- Creating an account is optional. Use a valid email address that belongs to you.
- Keep your password secret. If you think someone else is using your account, change your password and contact us.
- If you are under 18, get permission from a parent or guardian before creating an account or joining the leaderboard.
- You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you must not:
- Write fake sessions, use automation or otherwise manipulate the leaderboard or coins.
- Overload the Site or its infrastructure, try to get around its security, or run security tests without permission.
- Create an account in someone else's name or try to access another person's account.
- Use a leaderboard name that is insulting, hateful, promotional or impersonates someone else.
- Use the feedback form for spam, advertising or harassment.
If you find a security issue, please report it to destek@pomotoro.io without exploiting it. Thank you!
4. Weekly leaderboard
- Joining is optional and asks for a separate confirmation. Joining is permanent; to leave, email us or delete your account.
- The leaderboard is for fun and motivation; it doesn't promise any prize, money or right.
- To keep it fair, only sessions whose start and end our server sees are counted; sessions started while you are offline don't count on the leaderboard (they still show in your own statistics).
- We may remove users who break these terms from the leaderboard, change their displayed name or correct that week's results.
5. Coins, themes and streak freezes
- Coins are virtual points you earn by focusing, used only inside Pomotoro to unlock themes and buy streak freezes. They have no monetary value and can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
- We may change theme prices, how coins are earned and how streak freezes work. Themes you have unlocked stay unlocked.
- We may take back coins earned by cheating and themes unlocked with them.
- Without an account, your coins live only in your browser and are lost if you clear its data. If you create an account, they move to it.
6. Supporting us
The "Support" link takes you to Buy Me a Coffee. Any payment there is a voluntary donation: it doesn't give you coins, themes or any other feature, and refunds are subject to that platform's own terms.
7. Your content
The tasks and notes you write are yours. We process them only to provide the service (storing them and syncing them across your devices); we don't use them for anything else or share them with anyone. You can download your data at any time from Settings → Export.
8. Availability and liability
- The Site is provided "as is". We take care to keep it working, but we can't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost. We recommend exporting your important data now and then.
- We may improve, change or remove features. If we ever shut the service down, we will announce it in advance so you can download your data.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of this free service. This doesn't limit our liability for intent or gross negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Closing accounts
We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Where possible, we will warn you by email first and give you time to download your data.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If there is a dispute, please write to us first. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version and its date are always on this page, and we will announce important changes on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
